Family-owned and operated Habashi House restaurant opened in May of 2000 after the success of the adjacent Al-habashi Mart grocery store. Specializing in Middle Eastern cuisine, the menu includes the most popular Eastern dishes including salads, dips and sandwiches.

Tuesday through Friday, Habashi House offers daily specials. These exquisitely prepared dishes – at an extremely affordable price of $5.99 – are a culinary excursion that will delight the palate as Habashi House presents the best in Middle Eastern food available in metropolitan Kansas City.

The menu includes lamb, beef and chicken specials and gyros, stuffed grape leaves (Dawali or Dolmas), Arabic rice, Hummus, Baba Ghanoug (eggplant with tahini, garlic and lemon), Tabouli, Arabic and Mediterranean salads.

The House Combo is the most popular menu item at Habashi House. It’s a sampler plate of our specialties and it’s all vegetarian – Hummus, Baba Ghanouj, Dawali (Dolmas), Falafil patties and a choice of salad with pita bread on the side. And for an extra dollar, you can top your House Combo with a choice of meat.
